Portfolio
The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate the obtainment of the following competencies for Purdue University's Master Degree Program in Learning Design and Technology: Synthesize Knowledge,Create Knowledge, Communicate Knowledge, Think Critically and Reflectively, Engage in Professional Development, Participate Actively in the Profession, Apply Instructional Design Principles, and Apply Technology to Solve Instructional Problems. Demonstrating the mentioned competencies for the Master's Program also demonstrates competencies for professional organizations such as International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), and Association for Educational Communication and Technology (AECT). Explanations regarding each competency is provided on this website as well as sample artifacts or projects.

I finished my final semester for my Master's Degree in Learning Design and Technology at Purdue University, West Lafayette in May 2014. Currently, I am a instructional designer and technology integration specialist at Merrillville Community School District where I design, develop and provide professional development to educators, administrators and staff in the K-12 grade setting.
I enjoy being a life long learner in the area of instructional design and have been involved in a variety of training for various educators and business associates for over 20 years.
